The Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Scholarships
The scholarships are presented by the Morris K. Udall Foundation, Scholarship and Excellence in National Environmental Policy. The foundation, established in 1992 and based in Tucson, AZ honors the late Congressman Morris K. Udall and his legacy of public service. The foundation’s purpose is to foster and encourage awareness of the importance of the nation’s environment, public lands and natural resources, as well as encouraging Native Americans and Alaska Natives in the areas of health care and tribal policy.
The Goldwater Scholarship and Udall Scholarship are highly prestigious and substantial financial awards given to students in Science, Math or engineering (Goldwater) and Environmental Science (Udall). Each Fall, Trinity faculty nominate students for these awards, and it is a strong reflection of the quality of Trinity Sciences that a number of our students have received these national scholarships.
If you are a Trinity student interested in applying for a Goldwater or Udall Scholarship, contact Alison Draper [email protected] for more information.
